A developer wants to replace 45 acres of single-family zoning with 166 townhomes, 344 apartments, and commercial space at the gateway corner of Cockrell Hill and Wintergreen. Neighbors packed the chamber worried about traffic on two-lane Wintergreen, sewer and water capacity, four-story buildings near established homes, and property values. The commission recommended denial, but the City Council gets the final say.
Specific Use Permit for Minor Auto Repair Shop on N. Hampton Road
